Middle school teacher used school computers to plan borderline illegal anti-Tea Party activities.

An Oregon middle school teacher has been using district computers to spread his political message and working on his website during school hours. If that were not enough, even without the illegal use of taxpayer-funded equipment to further his goals, his conduct has been beyond unprofessional.

Jason Levin, a media teacher at Conestoga Middle School in Beaverton, has said publicly that he will do anything short of throwing rocks to bring down the Tea Party. He has announced his intention to "dismantle and demolish the Tea Party".

While it would be perfectly understandable for him to engage in counter-campaigns, spreading truthful information in support of his beliefs - as many do - Levin has openly exhorted the use of outrageous tactics such as dressing at Adolf Hitler, carrying signs bearing racist, sexist, and anti-gay epithets, and acting as flamboyantly offensive as possible in order to make the tea party look bad.

One of Levin's online posts read, “Some other thoughts are to ask people at the rally to sign a petition renouncing socialism. See just how much info you can get from these folks (name address, DOB, Social Security #). The more data we can mine from the Tea Partiers, the more mayhem we can cause with it!!!!”

So in short, in addition to encouraging defamation, he would engage in identify theft too.

The disgraced teacher quit before being fired.
