4 Chicago cops involved in robbery, illegal search, and extortion get just 6 months.
Four Chicago police officers were involved in various criminal activities such as stealing a diabetic's insulin in order to extort money out of him and stopping Hispanics driving expensive cars, taking the keys and illegally searching the motorists' homes. The officers were found guilty of some rather tame charges that netted them 6 months including "theft" and "official misconduct".
D.A.G. Says: Chicago and Illinois as a whole are very restrictive on gun ownership and carrying. Shouldn't that mean an extra emphasis on quality law enforcement?
Thanks Luke!
